Bee My Valentine

Hey everyone!  Welcome back, and happy Valentine’s Day! Today, I have another project featuring the Bee My Valentine Bundle and Bee Mine Designer Series Paper.

This project features lots of layers using Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, and the Bee Mine DSP.

Here are the measurements for this project:
Card Base: Daffodil Delight: 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 scored at four and 1/4
CS:  Basic Black 5-1/4” x 4”, 2-3/8” x 3-1/4”, 2-3/8 x 3-3/8”
Daffodil Delight: 5” x 3-3/4”
Basic White:  1/2” x 2-1/4”
DSP: 2-1/4” x 3”, 3-1/4” x 2-1/4”

First, I created a background by randomly stamping the honeycomb image from the Bee My Valentine stamp set on a piece of 5 x 3-3/4” Daffodil Delight CS and then adhered it to a 5-1/4” x 4” piece of Basic Black CS.  And I glued them down to the front of the card base.

Next, I cut the DSP to the sizes indicated, layered them, and adhered them to their corresponding Basic Black CS pieces.  I then staggered them and adhered them to the card base.

Using the Bee My Valentine stamp set, I stamped the bee body, wings, and antennae on a scrap piece of Whisper White CS using Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and Tuxedo Black (Memento) ink.  I used the Bee Builder Punch to punch out the pieces and glued them together.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the little bee to the card front.  Then, I stamped the sentiment on a piece of 1/2” x 2-1/4” Basic White CS and attached it to the card front using more Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I used the Banners Pick-a- Punch to snip the end of the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed today's project.  Please visit HERE for a full list of products used to create this cute Bee Mine project.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
