Hearts & Hugs - Peach Pie

Friday, June 7, 2024

Hey there! Happy Friday! Today, I'm excited to share my latest card made with the Hearts & Hugs Stamp and Die Bundle. For this project, I used a Peach Pie card base and colored and die-cut the adorable mouse image from the Hearts and Hugs stamp set.

To start, I cut a piece of 3" x 4-1/8" Thick White cardstock and stamped the plaid background in Peach Pie ink using the Sketched Plaid stamp. I adhered this to the top of the Peach Pie card base. Next, I cut a 2" x 4-1/8" piece of the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and attached it to the bottom of the card base, leaving a 1/8" border of the card base visible on all sides.

Then, I used the Nested Essentials dies to cut out two labels: one from Peach Pie cardstock and one from Thick Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment onto the white label and layered them in the center of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next, I took a scrap piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and stamped the cute mouse image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the mouse with Gray Granite Stampin' Blends and added a pop of color to the little heart with Petunia Pop Stampin' Blends. I attached the mouse to the left side of the labels using Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish the card, I added a Thick Basic White cardstock layer inside the card. I used the little hearts die from the bundle to cut out hearts at the top of the cardstock and adhered it with Multi-Purpose adhesive. Finally, I added a few In-Color Resin Dots to the card front. Voila!
