Coffee & Cards - Happy Hibiscus Card No. 1

Hey friends! Can you believe it’s already July? I’ve been having the best time creating with bright, tropical colors lately—and this week’s Happy Hibiscus Bundle has totally stolen the show! There’s just something about bold blooms, playful patterns, and a cheerful sentiment that brings instant joy. 🌸

I had so much fun putting this one together using the Happy Hibiscus Bundle. These flowers just pop with personality, and the hybrid embossing folder + die combo makes them look so dimensional with practically no effort. Win-win!

I started with a Strawberry Slush card base—such a juicy, cheerful color—and layered on some fun patterns from the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper. These papers are playful and just perfect for summer cards.

To build the focal point, I stamped the hibiscus flowers in Pretty in Pink and Strawberry Slush ink, using the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder and coordinating dies to emboss and cut them in one swoop. The leaves got the two-step treatment with Granny Apple Green ink—that bright, springy green really brings everything to life.

For the sentiment, I reached for a soft touch and stamped it in Secret Sea ink onto a Basic White circle (cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies). Then I added some gentle shading and splatter using Balmy Blue ink and a Dark Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Blend marker. It gave the circle just enough detail to feel special but not too busy.

And to finish it off? A sprinkle of 2025–2027 In-Color Pearls. I love a little extra sparkle—it ties the whole thing together. CLICK HERE FOR SUPPLIES!
