Hey friend! Today I'm sharing one of the cards we created during yesterday's Coffee & Cards Class using the Scenic Adventure Bundle and the Beautiful Gallery DSP.
If you've never joined me for Coffee & Cards, I'd love for you to pop in for some creative fun! I go live on Facebook and YouTube every Tuesday at 10 AM CT; come hang out!
If you'd like to watch the tutorial, you'll find the video replay link at the end of this post.
This card came together so easily; don’t you love it when that happens? The DSP really set the scene with its gorgeous landscape artwork. I started with a Secret Sea card base, then die-cut the trees from the Scenic Adventure Dies in Mossy Meadow cardstock. A little lift from Stampin’ Dimensionals gave them that perfect pop of dimension against the background.
For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea ink onto a die-cut label made with the Mixed Label Dies and Cloud Cover cardstock. The soft blue really ties in with the background and gives that peaceful, calming feel. Doesn’t it feel like you’re standing at the edge of the mountains, just taking it all in? A little linen thread bow and a couple of In-Color Pearls were the perfect finishing touches without distracting from the gorgeous scene.
Measurements:
Card base (Secret Sea cs): 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"
Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (card base layer): 4" x 5-1/4"
Mixed Labels die-cut label(Cloud Cover cs): 1-1/2" x 2-1/2"
Inside layer (Basic White cs): 4" x 5-1/4"
Designer Series Paper (inside layer): 1" x 5-1/4"
