12 Days of Christmas Day 8 | Pine Tree Trimmings

Monday, December 15, 2025

Hi friends, and welcome to Day 8 of my Twelve Days of Christmas series. I’m sharing a card and a coordinating treat bag that feel classic, cozy, and oh-so-Christmas.

I’ve had so much fun sharing this series with you! If you missed any of the previous days, you can watch the replays on my YouTube playlist below⬇️.

The card features the Pine Tree Trimmings Bundle, and I quilted three of the Christmas trees to add a little texture and interest. It’s one of those details that’s simple but makes such a difference. I used Crumb Cake, Garden Green, and Real Red cardstock, along with Garden Green, Darling Duckling, and Early Espresso ink to keep everything warm and festive. The finishing touches are the small bow made with Red and White Baker’s Twine, and the sprinkle of Basic Rhinestones.

Measurements & Details:
Crumb Cake card base: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Garden Green CS layer: 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"
Real Red CS embossed layer: 4" x 5-1/4"
Crumb Cake banner: 3/4" x  4-3/4"

The treat bag was created from two 6" x 6" pieces of the Christmas Tags & More designer paper, making it a quick and easy project perfect for holiday treats. I used Real Red Shiny Ribbon to tie the bow at the top and added a stamped tag using the same bundle, so everything coordinates beautifully.

Measurements & Details:
Christmas Tags & More DSP: 2-6" x 6" pieces
Score on one side at 1-1/2" and 5-1/2"
Turn and score at 1-1/2"
Die-cut tag: Branching Out dies

These projects are perfect for Christmas gifting and are a great reminder that simple shapes, classic colors, and a few thoughtful details go a long way.

Thanks for stopping by! Merry Christmas and Happy Stamping!
