Hi friends! Today I’m sharing this sweet, love-filled card that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day—or honestly, anytime you want to send a little extra love.
This card was all about soft colors, simple layers, and letting the details do the work. It came together beautifully and is one of those designs that feels special without being complicated.
I started with a Bubble Bath cardstock base and added another layer of Bubble Bath cardstock on top. To give it a little something extra, I stamped the word love from the Endless Love stamp set using Bubble Bath ink, creating my own subtle Designer Series Paper. I love doing this—it’s an easy way to add texture and interest while keeping everything soft and cohesive.
For the focal point, I die cut the largest heart from the Endless Love dies using Petunia Pop cardstock, then layered a smaller heart cut from Fresh Freesia cardstock right on top. The two colors together are so pretty, and popping them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals really makes the hearts stand out.
The sentiment, Hugs & Kisses, is stamped on Basic White cardstock and cut out with the little tag die from the same die set. To finish it off, I tied on a Petal Pink Faux Linen Ribbon bow—because a bow just makes everything better.
A few Shimmery Flat Dots sprinkled across the card front add the perfect finishing touch and just a bit of sparkle.
This card is soft, sweet, and full of love—and one you could easily recreate in different colors for all kinds of occasions.
