Hey there, Happy Monday, everyone! Today, I've got another card to show you featuring the Simply Zinnia Suite. I CASED this card from Lisa Althouse, LAStamper. The Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper steals the show on this one. There's just endless potential with this pack of Designer papers. I have a feeling it's creeping up the ranks to become one of my top favorites.
(Measurements & product links can be found and the end of this post)
For this card, I started with a Petal Pink cardstock base and topped it with a 4-⅛ x 5-⅜ Basic White card front. Then, I added a piece of the Petal Pink/white polka dot designer paper from the Flowering Zinnias DSP.
Using the Stylish Shapes dies, I cut out a circle of flowers from the reverse side of the polka patterned paper and popped it onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To add the sentiment, I used the Sweety Scripted stamp set and stamped "happy birthday" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I punched both ends of the sentiment with the Banner Punch. I popped it onto the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little extra dimension.
I ensued the banner stayed nice and even on the card by placing a glue dot in the center and one on each side. For a final touch, I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a bow made Linen Thread, come on, who doesn't love a bit of sparkle?
I spruced up the inside of the card with a piece of Basic White (Thick) CS and a leftover piece of the DSP, because who likes a basic card? 😂
