Florals in Bloom Fun Fold

Hi Friend! Welcome back! I’m so excited to share this fun fold card with you from this week’s Class Kit To-Go. This fun fold is full of layers, and little details that really make it pop. We made this card together during our Live Creative Thursday Class on June 5th, and I’ve got a full video tutorial ready for you to watch so you can craft right along with me! This card features Secret Sea and Basic White cardstock, along with the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper, a dreamy ink-blended shadow, and one of my favorite flower die cuts. Let’s take a closer look...

Here’s the full front of the card! You can see that layered look with Secret Sea cardstock on the base and beautiful Designer Series Paper tucked into the panels. The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea ink, and those floral die cuts are really the star of the show.

The flowers are popped up on the outer panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals, giving them a little extra depth. I used Cloud Cover ink to create a soft shadow effect behind them—such a simple trick that makes a big impact! The linen thread bow and 25–27 Iridescent Flat Pearls add that perfect finishing touch.

This is where the fun fold really shines! When you open the card, you’ll see the layered panel swing open for your message inside. It’s a unique layout that’s super easy to recreate once you see how it all comes together.

This is the same card layout, using different designs from the Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper. This card uses Garden Green, Bubble Bath and Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the flowers. 

MEASUREMENTS

Cardstock (Secret Sea): 

4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"

3" x 8", scored at 4"

Basic White cardstock: 

2 pieces - 2-3/4" x 3-3/4"

Designer Series Paper:

2 pieces - 4" x 5-1/4"
