This open-flap design gives just a hint of the inside, making the whole card feel interactive before you even open it.
Next up: arches! I used the Everyday Details Dies to cut two graduated arches—one from Secret Sea cardstock and a slightly smaller one from Basic White. I stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea ink right onto the white arch for a clean, calm focal point. Then, I wrapped a little linen thread around the top of the Secret Sea arch for just a touch of texture.
I glued the top half of the Secret Sea arch to the card flap, then popped the white arch on top with dimensionals to give it a little lift. The arches layer beautifully, creating a striking shape for the center of the card.
I love how the arch gives you the perfect frame for the flowers—it’s like a mini garden window!
Now, let’s talk about these flowers. I used Bubble Bath cardstock and cut and embossed the flowers with the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder. Then, I added a hint of Petunia Pop ink in the centers using a small blending brush—such a simple way to add depth! The leaves were die-cut from Old Olive cardstock using the solid image dies from the bundle.
I adhered the flowers with dimensionals, then tucked in the leaves with liquid glue. A few 2025–2027 In Color Pearls scattered around the card front gave it just the right amount of sparkle.
On the inside, I added a Basic White panel over the patterned DSP so you’ve got a nice spot to write your message—and it really brings the whole design together!
That pop of white on the inside is perfect for writing a sweet note—and it keeps the card light and balanced.
