December Sweet Stampede Blog Hop

Monday, December 1, 2025

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing my project for our December Sweet Stampede Blog Hop, and I had so much fun creating this adorable snowman card using the Festive Friends Bundle. This month's hop started with a sketch that featured several cut squares (see below), but ya'll know me, I didn't want to chop up a bunch of Designer Series Paper, so I decided to mimic the square design instead. And honestly? I love how it turned out!

To get that layered square look from the sketch, I grabbed the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder and embossed a piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock. The texture is fantastic—such a good foundation for a Christmas card! Then I added a piece of the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper in the polka-dot pattern as the next layer.
I die-cut the tag from the Festive Friends Dies, stamped the snowflakes all over it with Cloud Cover ink, and then added a soft, blended background with my Blending Brush. Next, I heat-embossed the tree from the stamp set in silver, die cut a second tree in Garden Green, and layered them together for a little extra dimension.

Let's talk about this Snowman! Isn't he the cutest!?! I stamped him in Memento Black on Basic White and colored him with Smoky Slate for shading, then used Cloud Cover and Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Blends for his hat and scarf. Then I brushed on some Wink of Stella because… sparkle is always a good idea.

I glued the left side of the snowman to the right side of the tag, added Stampin’ Dimensionals across both pieces, and popped the whole thing onto the card front.

For the finishing details, I used Cloud Cover and Strawberry Slush Faux Linen ribbon, and for a little extra pop of color, I tied a bow around them using Garden Green Chevron ribbon. Such a sweet combo!

The sentiment is stamped in Basic Gray ink onto the little die-cut label from the bundle, and of course, I added more Wink of Stella to make it shine. And to add a little more sparkle, I sprinkled on a few Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink gems.
