Stamped in Ink: BLESSED BEGINNINGS | FAUX CENTER STEP CARD

This was such a fun and easy card to put together. The base is created with two pieces of Thick Basic White cardstock and a few layers of that gorgeous Lovevly Blossoms Designer Series Paper.

The piece of Crumb Cake cardstock on the front step was embossed with the Birch Wood embossing folder. It adds a nice grounding piece for the focal image, don't you think?

I used Crumb Cake and Secret Sea ink to stamp the "Easter Blessings" sentiment. I love how these two colors complement one another.

On a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the church image in Memento Black ink and used Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to color the steeple and roof, and to add definition to the outline. I stamped the cross with Pecan Pie ink, then used Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends for the door and windows. The steps and bricks were colored with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. After coloring, I used the coordinating dies to cut it out.

I used the little hedge dies to cut the small hedges from Old Olive cardstock. and Vellum to cut out the circle.

Once all the pieces were die-cut, I layered them onto the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid adhesive. Then added it ot the center of the card front.

I added a few 25-27 Incolor Flat Pearls and a sweet Linen Thread Bow to finish it off.
