BRUSHED WITH BEAUTY | BECAUSE I LOVE YOU

I’m so excited to share the first card we made during my live class on Thursday, March 26, 2026—and oh my goodness, this one turned out so beautiful. If you missed the live, no worries at all, I’ve got the replay linked for you at the bottom of this post so you can catch it anytime.

This week we played with the Brushed with Beauty Suite, and I’m not even kidding… I am in love with these soft florals and all the layering you can do with them. This card has that perfect mix of texture, dimension, and just a little bit of elegance.

We started with a Crumb Cake card base and added that gorgeous floral Designer Series Paper right on top—such an easy way to make a big impact right away. For the flowers, I used my favorite technique… two-step stamping. I stamped the outline first, then stamped off once before adding it to the cardstock to get that softer look. I repeated that with the filler image, and it gives the flowers that dreamy, layered effect. So pretty!

The flowers and leaves were cut using the coordinating dies, which makes everything come together so easily. For the sentiment, I used the Words of Beauty Bundle and created that layered “just” using Very Vanilla, Vellum, and Crumb Cake. That little stack of layers adds so much interest without being overwhelming.

I added a soft vellum layer to the center of the card front, then built my focal panel right on top. Once everything was in place, I stamped “because I love you” in Calypso Coral—and I love how that pop of color ties everything together.

To finish it off, I popped up the flowers and sentiment with Dimensionals (because dimension makes everything better, right?!) and added a few pearls for just a little extra shine. I also added a Very Vanilla layer to the inside, so there’s a nice, clean space to write your message.

This card is soft, layered, and just… so beautiful. One of those designs that looks fancy but is actually really fun to put together.

Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla cardstock: Scraps for stamping & die cutting
