Stamped in Ink: Notes of Spring A Little Note of Thanks

Hi friends! Today, I’m sharing the last card from this week’s live card class, and oh my goodness…this one is just so sweet. It features the Notes of Nature stamp set, which is the March Product of the Month from Stampin’ Up!

This set is such a good one. You’ve got those adorable nature-inspired images, like this little bunny, paired with soft, organic elements that make everything feel calm and effortless. It gives you that layered, watercolor-style look without any fuss, and I am here for it.

For this card, I wanted to keep everything soft and neutral with just a touch of color. I started with a Basic Beige card base and added that pretty Petal Pink frame using the Perennial Postage dies. Then I layered on a piece of the Whispers of Texture specialty paper, and can we just talk about that subtle texture for a second? It’s so beautiful and adds just the right amount of interest without overpowering anything.

Now let’s talk about this bunny. I stamped him in Gray Granite and lightly colored his ears with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I also added a little bit of shadow underneath with Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends to ground him; it’s a tiny detail, but it really brings him to life. I cut him out with a circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies and added a bit of linen thread behind for some softness and texture before popping it up on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink on a die-cut banner from the Stylish Shapes dies, cut from Crumb Cake cardstock. I layered it right over the circle using both liquid glue and dimensionals to give it a little extra depth.

To finish everything off, I added a few muted palette dots, and that was it. Simple, soft, and just so pretty.
